It is the well-known policy of Fuji Magnetics GmbH and the employees to produce the highest quality prod-ucts at the lowest possible costs. So we want to meet or exceed the requirements of our customers. In addition to this, the management and the employees of Fuji Magnetics GmbH feel obliged to correspond with the responsibility for protection and preservation of natural environment. Therefore it is our goal to realise improvements in overall environmental performance. As a basis for this goal we have formulated the following environmental policy.

The following guidelines are characteristic of our environmental policy:
1. Laws, regulations, agreements
|
|
|
We comply with laws, regulations and agreements regard to the environment. In form of our own strict stan-dards we try to be better than the legal standards.
|

|
2. Implementation of environmental assessment
|
|
We want to implement environmental assessments in the following kinds of situations:
- when bringing new products into the market
- when constructing new factories, creating or remodelling equipment and changing manufacturing processes
|
|
|
|
3. Accidents, emergencies and abnormal operations
|
|
|
We want to work out response systems for accidents and emergencies, as well as management-systems for phases of abnormal operating in processes.
|
|
|
|
4. Natural resources, energy, waste material
|
|
|
We want to economize on natural resources like water, air and soil, as well as the reduction of waste material coming from the processes.
|
|
|
|
5. Chemical substances
|
|
|
We promote measures to reduce the use and discharge of chemical substances whose effects on the environment could be a cause for environmental pollution.
|
|
|
|
6. Employee education and training
|
|
|
We want to reinforce employee education and training pertaining to environmental preservation and the con-sciousness for environmental questions.

|
|
7. Environmental systems
|
|
|
We want to work toward the strengthening of environmental management systems with the assistance of meth-ods such as the implementation of environmental audits and the arrangement of provisions and standards.

8. Information of end users
|
|
|
We want to give informations to end users concerning environmental effects associated with the use as well disposal or recycling of our products.
|
|
|
|
9. Information policy
|
|
|
We give a commitment to the communication of information about our environmental-related activities and to cooperation at the local level and to the community service.
|
|
|
|
10. Continues Improvement
|
|
|
We intend to start a continues process of enhancing the environmental management system. By this we want to achieve improvements in overall environmental performance in line with the organizationīs environmental policy.
